I’d like to introduce you to the inspiration behind my brand, April & the Olive Pip.
Olive and April first met at our hospital mother’s group at 4 weeks of age. Their mother’s became immediate friends and, subsequently, the four of us have been inseparable.
Olive & April have shared a pretty important hurdle – they were both hippie harness babies. As those close to us are all aware, I love dressing April in beautiful things. The harness made it difficult, so I embarked upon a sewing journey. I fell in love with taking a piece of fabric and creating something not only beautiful, but practical for life in the harness.
And so, April & the Olive Pip was born.
The items in my store are predominately handmade by yours truly. I have sourced beautiful, quality fabrics from Australia and abroad. Due to the nature of our changing dollar, however, some of the pricing may change from time to time.
Some of our garments will be one-off, limited edition pieces, unique to your little one’s wardrobe. Others will be produced in small numbers.
